Sands of Time

It's a feeding frenzy for the press!

The only thing that the mainstream press are talking about today is the resignation of a Junior Minister and six PPS's in what appears to have been a co-ordinated action which may yet precipitate the early demise of the Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Blair's reaction to Junior Defence Minister Tom Watson's resignation was to claim that he was going to sack him anyway. The seven who resigned were signatories to a seventeen member letter calling on Blair to name his leaving date now, and end the uncertainty gathering within the Labour Party.

Blair's government now has the distinct odour of the body of a rotten fish, it's just a question of time really before it disappears completely.
