"Two Jags" in charge
After some delay caused by the middle east crisis, the Prime Minister Tony Bliar might eventually join the rest of his family at Sir Cliff Richard's villa in Barbados. He is presently engaged in protracted telephone calls to George Bush and Vladimir Putin trying to finalise the wording of a resolution to put to the United Nations to draw the heat out of the conflict in Lebenon.
He really need not worry about these things, he has a very capable Deputy Prime Minister able to look after more than one job (or woman) at a time. A tireless worker, a grafter, a sportsman, an intellectual, a strategist! Tony Blair can get away from it all and leave the world in the safe hands of John Prescott.
