The Time of my life!

curly's pictureCurly featured in Time Magazine

Seems I've made it at last on to the cover of Time Magazine! Well made the picture at least.

This blog continues to grow and consume so much of my time, along with my other sites, I am still writing the new version of Curly's Corner Shop, the rebuild is about two thirds complete. The new look site will have lots of new content, a new style, a new look, and should be much easier to navigate. Using CSS styles it will render equally as well in Internet Explorer and Firefox and ought to be worth the effort.

As these sites have evolved I have got to know a number of my readers throughout the world through email and newsletter contact, and also through the message board. It brings a sense of satisfaction that South Shields people and their descendents like to keep in touch with each other, I also know that those with links to South Shields have a constant thirst for knowledge, for information about the town, it's history, it's people and it's current outlook.

So, I am happy to consume half of my time sat at this keyboard publishing my thoughts and comments , giving praise and condemnation in equal measure, my biggest reward for this is knowing that people always like to return to their roots and revisit the town of their birth.

Keep coming back folks, we need your money!
