Sunday, August 27, 2006Howay Keano!Keane's accession not certain In his latest statement issued through Sunderland AFC's website, Niall Quinn is particularly cagey and might even be seen to be preparing the fans for less than good news. In his last couple of inquests by the press Quinn has been at pains NOT to mention the name Keane, and has indicated that he will remain in charge for tomorrow's game against WBA. In his statement on the club's website Quinn said; "Negotiations are ongoing and going well but it's something that's going to take time. Whatever happens, if it comes to fruition or not, we will tell people - not a third party. Seems things are moving on. According to bbc, Keane was introduced to the players this morning and has been seen at the Stadium of Light this afternoon. What odds on promotion or relegation now? A trainee manager is just what we needed
